Dying hair after highlights?

I have naturally dark brown hair, but about four months ago, I put in some highlights. I then went to a hair salon and had them corrected, cause I totally botched them. So now I have brown hair with kind of golden highlights. I want to dye my hair a dark auburn now (professionally, I learned my lesson about doing it myself ;)). Would that be okay, or will it turn out funky?

I usually go for a consultation at the salon to see what they think before even having it dyed there. Leave it to the professionals! (:

if a professional is going to do this for u, it will turn out great. so i suggest that u don't try to do this yourself.

Brown hair with golden highlights sounds nice. Why don't your give your hair a rest before coloring it again.

Condition it and eat a good diet and then go back to a professional in a few months.
