Everytime Ive highlighted my hair, the highlights turn orange! Time doesn't seem to make a difference either.

I've been at the cheeto orange stage before. Right before my senior pics, I placed golden brown highlights in my hair. The box said they were for dark hair. Big mistake. 80 bucks later my hair was shimmering with red and blonde highlights. Hairstylists are the only people who can truly highlight your hair. They need to take out the color a little at a time to prevent damage and the soda effect. Trust me. It's worth your money.

Goto a stylist to have them do it, or you can use lowlights from a store, Garnier, Loreal, Revlon.



But you are better off at a salon where they can correct the orange, it sounds like your hair is overprocessed.
