My advice, get it done professionally. Two of my friends dyed their's back from blonde and within 2 weeks both turned green...from the dark fading mixed with the blonde highlights showing through. Dark brown would be cute.

I think definately go back to brunette! You have gorgeous dark eyes so dark hair will compliment them.

Also, if you don't want to keep dying your hair, going natural is the best thing to do.

After so long being a blonde, your new 'natural' hair will look fantastic!

Definately do it, just go for it :-)

Goldwell B 6 would be a excellent color for you. Our hair is almost identical and I was right where you are about one year ago. But, go to a hair stylist to be safe. Good Luck!

What you will need to do is dye it what you believe is closest to your natural color, then you will not need to dye it any longer. Hope this helps hun.

my advice is to go to a salon to get it done because they need to put a red on it first and then a brown to stop it from going green. If you do it yourself make sure you use a red semi permanent on first and then wash that off don't use conditioner and then put the brown on. Must make sure you don't use conditioner as it will stop the colour from working.

I was a much lighter natural blonde than in both of ur pics and over time of dying my hair, with no color, it is now a light brown. I then dyed it to look blonde as it used to be but always had to keep up with it since the dark roots showed. I bought the store bought dye and used a medium brown. It was dark for a week or two but fades. Since your roots are dark that part will be darker and your ends will be brown but lighter. Keep getting trims every 4-6 weeks to keep trimming the ends to eventually grow out all the older color. Just avoid coloring with reds or ash as they can come out wrong. Its hard to color over reds.

You would look really beautiful with chocolate brown hair :)

I agree that you should go to a salon and have a colour specialist take care of the job if you are really considering doing this. You have such gorgeous colouring, and I think a darker colour would just bring that out! Plus, you would have a longer time frame between touch-ups. It's a win-win!

Hey! I just want to let you know i had the SAME proble! I had died my hair blonde for 7 years, stripped it and died it over and over. My hais was sooo damaged that when i tried to go back to my natural color, it wouldnt stick. The pigment was GONE. It faded everytime. So finally i gave in and got it done professionally, what you will have to do is ask for what is called a "vegtable" color. You can pick whatever color you want but it has to be vegtable. What it does is stick to your hais better. Whenever you dye it blonde it strips it of pigmant, wich is what color NEEDS in able to stick. My hair faded a little bit after 3 weeks, then the next time i had it done it lasted 4 weeks then 6 weeks. Its really helped alot! I hope this helps you! Cuz i know what your going thru! I hated my blonde hair, it made me look washed out and quite fake. Take care and good luck!
