Hair Highlights ............Seasonal???

I've heard before that highlights are just for the summer months....is this true?? My boyfriend wants me to redo my hair and I want to color it one color. He really likes the highlights and thinksI'm weird for thinking that I cant get them in the winter.---- Please help

naturally, your hair tends to go lighter inthe summer months because the sun bleaches it out. in the winter it goes darker (roots from h*ll with out coloring or hiliting) naturally.

you can do hilites in the front (not as heavy as the summer hilites) while doing more lowlites toward the back and underneath. when summer gets here, just do more hilites in the front and no lowlites 'till next fall.

Highlight is something that happens naturally with everything that has colour. Highlights NEVER go out of style, you simply have to change colour and thickness of the highlights. During the winter, skin tends to get very pale, mostly from the lack of sun, so putting highlights only a feww shades lighter than your base colour, will make your skin look radiant. If you're thinking of getting a blonde, go with an ash blonde so hair doesn't look yellow against snow.

HIGHLIGHTS ARE NOT SEASONAL. highlights look fine in any season i wear them all year round and my hair looks great!
