REPOSTED QUESTION: What is a good(highlights) hair color for black people with dark hair?

have dark hair, and im getting it highlighted (not permenently) since majority of the people i know that have dark hair put either red or blond highlights in their hair, can someone give me an alternate hair color, that is different, yet cute?

(something besides red, blond, blue, and green)

P.S: im not dying my WHOLE HEAD!!

and people, i don't wanna dye my hair a natural color, something that stands out and is exotic!!!

i would never have thought of this

because i tend to lean towards the

more preppy side.

but a few girls in my highschool with

black hair got dark purple highlights,

and it looks gorgeous on all of them.

really dark red/red violet is good choice. but beside those colors you said, then i guess dark purple?
