Hair Highlights Help/Question!?

So, I'm a brunette and I always wanted natural looking highlights, but I don't really want to go to a salon or get one of those box products. My friend recommended me a product called 'sun in' where you spray it into your hair, and it lightens. But, I'm not really sure if that will work on brunettes. Anyone try before or can recommend me products? Thanks!

sun in is for the summer when you're out in the sun--it bleaches your hair and makes it lighter. i would get golden blonde highlights. with salons you are guartanteed a natural look, but i'm sure boxes are okay too

well i would just go to the salon cause if you try any thing and it don't work you neaver know if it will do any thing to your hair so that's what i would do

you're hair will be orange...don't !!

professional, salon, the only way....

"Sun in " is okay if you want natural looking highlights. You don't have to be in the sun, you can use a blow dryer. Just use it everyday and you will eventually see the results. I have found that it does dry your hair out, so use a good conditioner on your hair. All in all it may take awhile, but it's more natural.

I use to use "sun in" on my daughter. DON'T USE THAT CRAP!!! You really shouldn't use a box stuff either. If you want it done right, go to a salon, and get it done right the first time. If for some reason your do-it-yourself job ruins your hair, and you need to go to a salon to get it fixed, it will end up costing you 3 times what you would have paid originally if you had gone to them in the first place!

NOOOOO DON'T DO IT!!! Sun in = BAD bad bad. lol seriously.

If you want natural looking high lights you had probably better break down and go to the salon. Sun in will make your hair go a freakish orange.

I'm dead serious - i have very dark brown hair with no red tints at all.... when I was 17 I used sun in and.... well... lets just say it went orange - not cool at all.

If you have a good salon in your area just go in and talk to them and explain you want something as natural as possible, they would probably be able to make it look much better than a Sun in experience!

Good Luck!!!

Hair Highlights Help/Question!?

your lucky if your a blonde and that stuff doesn't turn your hair orange/gold. I wouldn't recommend it-I'm not sure it would even lighten your hair, but I wouldn't chance the results. See a professional if your hearts set on hilights-cuz those ones in a box couldn't be anything further from natural.

Hair Highlights Help/Question!?

Trust Me! Don't do it! Your hair will be every shade of orange!

If you want to get highlights for cheap. Your best bet is Loreal Colour Experte. They have the under color and the highlights.
